Ice Nine Kills @ the Cross Insurance Arena/ Portland, ME 04.14.22

Ice Nine Kills, also known as the acronym INK, is a heavy metal band that formed around 2002 in Boston, Massachusetts. They have changed the music scene drastically by having their last two albums, The Silver Scream and Welcome to Horrorwood, completely inspired by horror movies and the horror genre.

The band is fronted by singer Spencer Charnas and is joined by members Ricky Armellino (guitarist), Joe Occhiuti (bassist), Patrick Galante (drummer) and Dan Sugarman (guitarist). Currently, Chris Kelly is stepping in for Dan Sugarman as one of the guitarists when they have been touring.

The band’s theatrical live performances, that include actors as well has many costume changes, does not take away from the sheer talent each member has. Whenever Charnas walks onto the stage at the start of their set, he instantly has the entire audience’s attention with his powerful stage presence and vocals. Ice Nine Kills always put on a killer show and only seems to be getting better each time.
